this is hiragana. it is used for navie japanese words.

Thank you Paula! I keep going on the GenkiJapan website (the people who did the numbers song) and it's a really good site! I even had a question so I e-mailed the guy who runs it and he answered me back right away and was really nice. They have like worksheets that teach stroke order and everything.
