Erica's pretty much the most badass character that didn't get any relevant plotline except to bring some kind of weird humanity to Mark at the end, so I was really happy to see that someone was writing about her! This was really sharply written and just, like, delightfully awkward. I'd love to see more like this ♥

FUCK, this is good. I love everything about how this is written, and that Erica and Eduardo would come together like this at all, these two people affected in very similar ways. I love the details Eduardo notices, how he tries to think around Mark because he's supposed to be a smaller part of Eduardo's life, and yet he still has trouble with it. I like that he asks if Mark apologized, because (as we see in the movie), he assumes Mark had, but he regards Mark differently now, knows about Mark and apologies. Love this!

I'm just all flailing and happy at this, mainly because you saw everything I was hoping for, the parts I thought were important to Eduardo's continuing story.

This. Is. Perfection. Seriously, it just fits, you know? I feel like this could have been the end of the movie. The characters are spot on, and the atmosphere was just so right. Awkward, but... Something more than I am not eloquent enough to describe. And the imagery! Oh! For some reason, this was my favorite line: And it’s Mark, Mark, Mark, infesting his thoughts even now, when he still has paper cuts under his fingernails from shuffling legal papers for hours a day. Just so good, my friend! You are incredibly talented, please keep writing! :D

I'm so glad it rang true to you, that's all I really wanted, just the chance to spend a little more time with these two on their own terms I guess.

I definitely plan to write more. This fandom has just slayed me, I love it so.

This is so terrific-- the contrast between incredible Erica who's completely moved on with her life and Eduardo, who's still stuck thinking of Mark, even after everything. I love Erica SO MUCH-- we need more of her in this fandom.
