To put it in best tennysonian style - is this a case of the old order changeth, making way for the new? Alonso finishing first in a race. Michael Schumacher 7th. I wait along with the rest of the world for the F2005 to be unleashed at Bahrain. It is all in Mugello :-)

ma7ur, i think i missed out one very vital point. The tyres. The new rules with regard to tyres and engines have created a sort of fear in the drivers. they dont want to flatspot tyres soon or blow up their engines as BAR did so sadly. (Button is wasted on them)

With regard to racing style, safer drivers have an advantage in terms of being more careful, while the wilder ones tend to go flat out. But to take your point further, what would you call Herr Michael Schumacher?

well these stupid new rules hav kinda turned F1 upside down.

how the hell can you expect 18000 rpm engines and rubber tyres to last TWO WHOLE RACES???

instead of bringing everyone up, theyve pulled them down.

what next? Minardi overtaking Ferraris?
