Annoying News #1: I ordered a book on amazon.com, and the USPS left me a little note saying to pick it up, or I could sign it and they'd drop it off. So I told them to leave it at the rental office of my apartment complex. Instead of doing that, they left it by the front door of my apartment building, and somebody took it. OMG, what is with that guy?! Stay hungry?? What the hell does that even mean? And who says it to people looking for a job? That sucks big time. I'd write and bitch them out about that shit, if I wasn't still interested in working there some day.

I don't know what it means. I replied to his email and was very polite (don't want to burn any bridges) and said to keep me in mind if anything opens up. What I wanted to say was:

Hey wanker,

Thanks for jerking me around for two weeks and then lying to me. Oh, and thanks for blowing me off on the phone and rejecting me via email. You're a class act. I hope your eyes catch on fire and your time as an editor goes up in flames ... literally.

I was so mad when I heard Hugh Laurie talk in his real voice and he's English. Being English doesn't usually piss me off at all...but HOUSE should NOT be all proper English sounding. :(

Maybe it's because I heard him speak as House first. If I knew he was English and then heard him talk American, I might not be as pissed. hehe. I really do usually like English accents, though!! Really!!
