well. i don't know, i don't feel really like going into details about this, but yeah, yet again my dad has sprung something on me that i have no choice in. i was originally going to get to go home for a measly one week after ucsc gets out. but no, though he formerly didn't want me to take summer school at all, and thought i should just take 20 ( Read more... )

He wouldn't let you enroll in SBCC?? It's the best cc in the state (well... at least it's #1 in the state for transfers to the UC system... aka, they're good) and they have amazing teachers there.

Take out student loans. They're really easy to get, just research and see who will give you the best deal. Six months after you're out of school you have to start repaying them, but for the last year of school that you have, it would be nice not to worry about rent money or if you can afford food and whatnot... It sucks to be in debt (I'm still trying to pay off my credit card, too... and I'm getting closer, but it's still a struggle) but it seems like a better option than to let your dad make you jump through hoops so that he will pay for something that you DESERVE since you're getting more than decent grades.

im sorry to hear that things are going yuckies. i agree with hana, the student loan thing is kinda pooey for 4 years (i have that haha) but for your last year, i think its better than all the stress your dad gives you.

how are you?? how is dylan? how is everything? i havent talked to you in ages. finals is kickin my butt and im sick and have canker sores from stress on top of it, haha, im sure im lovely right now. i hope finals arent treating you too yucky. well im in SC til monday the 19th, if youd like to get together sometime itd be good to see ya. we never did get those bagels from noah's downtown :OP, everytime i pass by there i think about you. anyways, hope all is well.
