brother-sister incest:
I think part of this may be boonies's fault. I found out she had a thing for weasleycest and I had already had an inkling of interest. I can't remember if she linked a fic or not, but I got hooked on it. Then when I started getting into Naruto, I began to ship Gaara and Temari almost for the sole purpose that it was hot. Then infintefirefly helped me reinforced that ship with LOGIC! <3 Eventually I found sandcest and ended up writing stuff. The rest is history.
ddr arrow hallucinations:
If you have ever played DDR for excessive amounts of time (such as a few hours in one go) then you know what I'm talking about. Impossible arrow combinations start to meld themselves to the backs of your eyelids.
geisha: I've had an interest in geisha before Memoirs came out. (Which I partly enjoyed.) I think they're very beautiful and talented. And NOT prostitutes.
hospitality: I'm a hospitality management major. I enjoy cooking too much to ignore it and I like to make sure people are comfortable and feel welcome in my house. It gives me a feeling of pride that I can fill people's stomachs and have them relax around me. It's a little hard to explain why I love doing this. I blame it on society's reinforcement of Mommy behavior. But that's ok. ♥
pitifully beautiful sorrow: For some reason when something's tragic, it makes it all the better. For instance, when I think of this, the first thing that comes to mind is a_hollow_year's "Tales from the House of the Moon." If you haven't read it, DO IT NOW. IT IS GODLY.
research binges: I occasionally think of something or hear about something that makes me want to go research it. This doesn't happen much anymore, but just recently I suppose you could consider my D&D giddiness a research binge.
the human condition: Humans are so very flawed. (As is illustrated everyday as I drive on the freeway.) And that makes for very interesting literature, art, music and such. Thank God we aren't perfect cause everything would be so BORING ALL THE TIME. And there would be no tragedies. Ever. D:
In other news, I feel much better today. :D
