Chicago Bound
One last sleep and I'm off to Chicago at the crack of dawn. Trying desperately to decide who I want photos with and then what to wear. Joe and David separately are definitely on the list then Chris, Paul, I'm on the fence about Kavan (his auto is extra) and Joe & David together.
Last year I only did Joe, David and then the 2 together.
I've packed and repacked a dozen times, I hate packing! Tomorrow afternoon will be sightseeing downtown, hitting the aquarium first and then maybe a boat tour before meeting a friend for dinner.
It's going to be a very long day as I have to be up at 3:30 AM, drop my car off and get the shuttle to the airport by 5:45 AM....yes AM, what was I thinking when I booked this flight? The sun will still be sleeping.
Fri morning is breakfast with RR, registration and then hopefully a field trip in the afternoon with some fans to see the new CONAN movie. That will be a hoot.
Sat and Sun will be filled with lots of waiting for autographs, pictures, panels but it's always fun to stand in line and talk to those fans around you. I've made a few good friends that way.
And of course the icing on the cake besides Joe and his gorgeous eyes and sexy body and voice, I won the meet & greet with David. I hope he has lots of stories to tell as I will probably be tongue-tied and mumble. But I did go see Rise of the Planet of The Apes just in case the subject comes up.
Now I really must finish packing and get some sleep, I'm sooooo hyped up.
