I haven't been to a public library in a long time. Well, I went a few months ago for a class project but it was just used as a meeting place. I did however get a library card while I was there. My interview for a summer job went well. They offered me the job yesterday and I accepted their offer. I start working on Monday. Next Monday. It's just an office job and the University of Illinois Alumni Career Center. That's a mouthful. It's 40 hrs/week so hopefully that'll keep my bills paid for the summer months until I can get some good ol' ( Read more... )

It's much too cold here considering May is just around the corner. People are still wearing coats and hats and scarves because it's still 40 degrees out and windy. And I'm here in my room freezing. We're finally having consecutive days above freezing! The weather has been great. I love days that are sunny and somewhere between 35 and 55 degrees. I hope it stays like this for a while. Tomorrow is my first day back in class...blah. I'm not really pumped about going back. Especially not now that I have some kind of cold. I've been sneezy and sniffly and headachy all day.
