This sounds like you're being forced to choose between B or your cats. It's great that you and B are progressing! What do you think of moving in? It'd be you, him, and a roommate?

yes I am being forced to choose, and I still get upset when I think about it. I'm not ready to do that yet. I'm ready to move in but not choose between the things I love.
