So we did our first batch of house hunting today and have come with 3 possible candidates. All of which are at least 35 minutes from work for both of us, 2 of which are at the very top of our price range. None have HOA fees to contend with. So, real estate wizards, which house would you choose?

No house is cosmetic-free. Something will begin to bother you and you will want to change/paint/adjust. Plus, it's amazing how much stuff you NEED TO BUY once you move. It is impossible to move just with your own things and not need anything else. Stupid stuff like wastebaskets, and things for your cabinets/drawers, and electric things, and an extra phone, and.... And appliances will run you a lot, even if you buy used/banged up. Keep looking. Especially since neither of you are in love with the same house.
