The results I'm seeing on Prop. 8 say 5% of precincts reporting, so I wouldn't be so sure yet. (That's from the San Francisco Chronicle.)

*fingers crossed* - I'm having a really hard time finding anything solid, so hopefully that was just a knee jerk panic attack.

It is likely that it will pass which sucks. Its going to be incredibly close so we aren't calling it yet. However the truth is, no matter which way it goes we are going to keep voting on it over and over for the next few years, so this election is just one step in the fight.

But the state is already taking legal action to fight it. Kevin has been doing research this morning and found some interesting stuff in the constitution that could block it. he is making sure they know it already and if not will share.
