Okay, so this is one of those problems that really isn't a problem, because it's not like I can't manually change it, but I'm lazy and occasionally forgetful, so I was hoping there would be a quick auto-fix. Hell if I can find it, though ( Read more... )

You can do it with a header/footer via an autotext date. Header/Footer is under View and the date is a button rather than under autotext.

ALSO, you can go to Insert>Date and Time; choose your format and click 'update automatically'. That should do it quicker and better, now that I'm looking at it. :-)

I think I got it! Word 2007 is kind of obnoxious, I can't just insert the date. I had to jump through a couple extra hoops to do it. But I think it's going to work now. Yay!
