Had the weekend I needed. Had a release I desperately needed. Had experiences I never expected.

Confirmed I have a pretty amazing life and I started the New Year off right. :) 

That starts with a free outdoors concert, all-you-can-eat-sushi, and a cute boy falling asleep in my bed, ends with a day jumping in the ocean waves, my first ever seafood tacos, and amazing ice cream dripping all over me in the setting sun, and is full of old friends, new friends, grilled lamp, infused vodka, lessons in how to strip, silly photos ( Read more... )

Also, got my bangs trimmed in less than 5 minutes from entering the salon to leaving today after work. They are... not what I expected. I said "same thing but shorter so I can wear them to the side" and she took that to mean "cut them on an angle". So now I have weird lopsided bangs were I to ever try to wear them straight across. But I have a Tigger and she's a better date than any I could ever hope for. (Feel free to envy me the cute chick on my couch).

We also have an oven full of bacon candy that is half-done! 

It''s Sunday, June 28th. Anyone want to come with? It's always more fun with a crowd! Alternatively, if anyone is already part of a glom I can join, that would rock also! :) 

Today sucked in a special kind of way. Send hugs. And alcohol. And ideas of where I can put the bodies. 

But now that I started to wear sunblock last year, I'm not completely tan to show for it.

Are y'all SURE this is normal/natural/healthier for the skin? Looks weird to me...

Still, much sun + lots of lovely social + walking many miles + mani/pedicures with a friend as a reward = falling over asleep by 9:30 pm.
