Dude...we should run when you are here. WITH THE DOGS!! They will love it so much.

I look forward to running with the dogs. And running ON THE BEACH AT YER BEACH HOUSE, HOLY FUCK. This is going to be amazing. Except you can't judge me when I run in a sports bra, mkay? I prefer it to shirts now. But I've only ever done shirtless running BY MYSELF *cries*

running on the beach is HARD gahhhh. But a good workout. Pfff whatever. A sports bra is like a bathing suit. I run in them plus a t-shirt or tank top.

It's easy if you run right where the water meets the sand -- it's harder sand, but with more give, so it's not as tiring. Plus, just run into the ocean when you get hot.

Agree about rest days - they are muy importante!

You feel shin splints at the front of your shin (or that's where I feel mine), and not the calf, so I don't think that's what you're feeling. I had some shin pain a few days ago in my right leg, because I wore my mom's sneakers (I left mine in Queens). Rest days do wonders and are just as important as days you actually run!

Yeah I don't think it's shin splints. And yeah I don't think wearing mom's sneakers is the best thing to do. Believe it or not, I'm actually looking forward to my rest day tomorrow.
