it's because they never have had it happen to them before..... or because they can't see past their hurt to the fact that many people go through the same thing. at least most of the time that is how it is....or at least for me it was. i've been there more than once this year(not suicide but thinking my probs were worse than everyone else's)....it took my youth leader to snap me out of it.
