As I read the press coverage of Reverend Wright, I can't find anyone who has reacted to his recent public appearances as I have. Honestly I'm impressed by his intellect and agile oratory even if he is narcissistic and a pathological provocateur. Most of the articles and op-eds I see are concerned with how Wright will reflect on the Obama campaign

I agree with you about Reverend Wright. Hell, I agree with a lot of what he says, though I cringe at the timing. But, wow, I guess Barack really does have game. I mean, Bill Bradley would have been the best hoopster as President. Obama comes in an impressive second, though.

I also agree with most of Wright's content as I understand the inexpediency of his timing. I just hate that the timing has become the dominant meme.

Apparently the Obama campaign has not trumpeted his basketball skills because they are afraid doing so would feed into stereotypes...about blacks or intellectual elitists like us I'm not sure.
