Cornish is better than the Art institute because Cornish focusses on art and only the administration is concerned solely with money; whereas at AI the teachers are completely concerned with money as well as the administration.
Art school is very expensive, but you've got the grades and drive to get it paid for. If you want to major in art, though, go to an art school instead of a state school. UW's art school is good, but the focus is primarily on their graduate program. However, since you've already got the business part down, I highly recommend the design program at Cornish. They would like your drive, and the work would be about what your used to -- from what I hear, at least. I don't, however, think that you would like the art program. Plus there isn't a ceramics or glass wing of sculpture. "Ceramics is a craft," they say. I say that's bullshit.
Good luck. (Sorry this turned into a long response.)
I would be in design if I were to go there but really my grades are not good enough I have like a 3.7 and that don't go for a full ride or even half or even close to it really.
"AI=technology that will envitably be outdated." YES. If your a good deisgner you can be just as effective with a stick in the sand as a computer. (art chantry said that, he rules)
"Cornish=I like the ART focus rather then the business" NO. In the deisgn program you definetly get business focus, i have 2 classes next year purley about that. Its just that thinking creativley is pushed there, as opposed to being amazing in technique, but with practice and experiance comes technique, so yeah...anyways
"SCCC=...a fucking moron. She siad she didn't like that they made her draw so much and didn't see hwo that helped her with graphic design...." YES. She is a fucking moron. I HIGHLY suggest SCCC for you
I am trying to get into it right now but I need to improve my portfilio and have something presentable that is not on the computer. and well apperntly I need to be able to draw.
