Can we say Antichrist?

It took me a couple of months to breathe that word to others, this past winter, but when I uttered it to one of my trusted LJ friends, she said that she had been thinking the same. And then my SIL, who is more liberal-wishing in nature, and who wanted so badly to believe in Obama's abilities, expressed her concern that he could be the A/C, as well. And all of our lake friends say the same.

If he isn't, he's definitely a vehicle for leading us in that direction...

I was thinking the same thing a while back, but dismissed it as twisted thinking. Today, I have to admit the thought is very close to the surface.

There's hubris, and there's portraying yourself as a messiah. The Dems are screaming about McCain's The One commercial, but he couldn't have made it without using Obama's own statements.

If not he, then yes, not only a vehicle, but a Mac truck barreling straight at us.

First of all, we already have a national police force. They're called the FBI, the Federal Marshall's and the Treasury Departments Secret Service (who do more than *just* protect the President). We do *not* need to have all of our local law enforcement personnel "federalized" - they're not the National Guard. O.o

This is the first I've heard of this new bit of Obama-insanity. Do you have a link where I can check this further, Angel?

I agree that we have NO need for a national/federal police force to replace our local guys. The ONLY purpose for this move is to create a police state. A simple Google search for "Obama national police" will bring back more references you'd ever want to hear of. It was part of a speech he presented 2 July in Colorado. It's not only scary, it's sickening.

YouTube also has plenty of video references under the same search criteria.

Let me know what you think after taking a look at this.

Thanks for the direction on where to look. I should have figured that out by myself, but I was *really* tired last night, and my brain wasn't completely functional (like it ever really is!). ;)
