FoxNews reports the Democrats are concerned about Obama's standing in the polls as compared to McCain.  Peeking beyond the headline, those defending Obama say he's somehow not gotten his message out to the people.  This is delusional speak.  It's not that Obama hasn't gotten the message out, it's that we've heard the message and we don't like it.  ( Read more... )

Of all the photos taken in my childhood, the annual school pictures are by far the scariest!

But like you say: a hysterical record of history for other's viewing pleasure!

Well said!

Enough dalliance... back to my considered opinion about why and how a Living Constitution philosophy takes our country in a dangerous direction. In the form of a properly formated, grammatically correct, well documented, six to eight page paper, of course.

If you'd be willing to share that, I'd like to read it.

Might throw it out there under a cut in the next day or so. After seeing clips of McCain on the View, the paper is particularly relevant to election issues.

I am well used to hearing that form of speech in this country. It is what people say when they are concerned that people don't like what they say enough to vote for them. Those saying this can then delude themselves into thinking that if they only say the same things in a different way, then people will start liking them, but I've never once known that to be the case ( ... )
