I've been in a super-funk lately. On top of being sick for the past week, all I've wanted to do is sleep and brood. I've done plenty of both. Enough to last a very long time, actually - far longer than a week

Zoinks, yo. I briefly thought about stretching mine but I don't think I will. I'm not sure if I'll want my ear rings forever and don't want floppy lobes if I decide to take them out.

When you take them out, they go back to normal size very quickly. Sometimes, if I've worn heavy earrings for a few days, I'll sleep without them one night to have them shrink back up. I know several people who have stretched to quite large sizes (close to 1"), taken them out, and had normal lobes within a couple of months. I can tell you for certain, in the last 2 days, mine have shrunk to about 1/2 the size they were. It's gonna be a bitch getting them stretched back out...but there's no way I'm putting any plugs in there now!
I went from normal sized earrings to 00g in about 6 months, without a single problem. My ears have been at 00g for almost 5 years now. I decide to stretch again, after never having a single problem, and *poof* my ears are shot to shit in one fell swoop. I guess it's not quite the same skipping smaller sizes as it is when you've gotten up to the heavy guages. Damnit.
