( Neville watches while Harry storms furiously back and forth the seventh floor corridor and then yanks open the door as soon as it appears. )

Wow, that was very powerful. It's like Harry needed the physical pain to get his emotional turmoil and pain at DD's death under control. Very well done and I like how you've portrayed Neville too, he's very much like that in canon. Shy and unsure, not confident at first, but with encouragement he comes into his own. Excellent.

Also, this is clearly why Harry broke up with Ginny. Because he had to be with whipbearing!Neville, obviously!
