john pilger at the anarchist book fair

i first heard about john pilger quite by accident. for years ive been saying how there was no independent media in the uk (as growing up in yugoslavia makes you gain the 'state-propaganda-radar' i think) and a south african journalist who was working at the same place where i was could not stop talking about john pilger. i still havent read any of ( Read more... )

Sounds cool... nice that such a big journo is attending such a radical event.
And I always felt much more easy with the anarchists than socialists or communists! don't trust em ;)
This kinda event happening all over the country in town halls, libraries, schools etc is where our hope lies.
Mass awakening, grassroots movement.
Won't happen tho.
Deffo agree about obama... the way the crowds scream for him scares me.

apart from occasionally seeing the 'mad woman of alaska' who sounds like your average (or below average) pta mother (actually, sarah palin reminds me of a character in 'donnie darko', one of the teachers who was promoting the course run by the guy who turned out to be a peadophile or something ( ... )
