Well I know it's a heraldic trident, not a pitchfork! It symbolizes ancient Slavic tribes on the Ukrainian coat of arms. Oh I know Belarus likes to push Ukraine around.

Anyway, welcome! We need more ladies up in here.

Oh dear. I was thinking Ukraine--> Pitchfork--> Farmer-type. Maybe she spearfishes instead?

Thanks for info! It's even more ironic that I knew about the coat of arms and didn't make the connection. ^^U

I think the Slavic nations just like their weapons. Belarus has her knife, Ukraine has a trident and Russia has his ...stolen german plumbing. 'TIS A FEARSOME SIBLING UNION INDEED.

I think you're right about Ukraine being the oldest of the three. I have no proof of that though, probably one of those fandom things that I've convinced myself is canon.

IF BY FEARSOME YOU MEAN LIFE OF THE PARTY AND FULL OF WIN, THEN I CONCUR. I'm disappointed to see that lead pipes aren't featured on the Russian coat of arms. But there is something with two heads!

Yup, that's what I read on another player's journal. *creepy stalker laugh*

My japanese skills are pretty poor, but I think it says something along the lines of "Russia's older sister who gets caught up in affairs." Something like that OTL;;;

I think I've been away from the Hetalia fandom too long. ^^U Can you point me in the direction of them? I looked through the main comm and only saw the one Canada already translated for me and a birthday list.
