Culture Shock_Episode 1_"Napa Land", my island home

For all my non Seychellois friends, "Napa Land" translate to the land of nothing. That is what I have come back to. Basically it means that in the land which I now reside, there is nothing. This is a short list of the items which I can't find in the shops and markets ( Read more... )

You know only thing that struck me as odd about all that was the fish sausages...

Funny u should mention that(seeds for veges). I was just telling my sister that I will start planting soon. I will plant myself a lettuce plant. I will put it in a pot and walk around with it all day. If i keep it at home all day, I am sure somebody will come and steal it!

Then, I will start eating it little by little...a few leaves per day, and try to be sustainable! ha ha ha

I am creating you a care package with chillie sauce :) and maybe I should also send you some multivitamins :( I guess you won't be getting fat or need the gym...

NJ FYI: Australia post has special post packs that hold wine bottles. Just have to hope that the postman doesn't steal it for himself when it gets there.
