My Dad is a big Terry Goodkind, Robert Jordan fan but I haven't read any of their stuff yet.

Wheee Golden Compass and Hunger Games are great. It's been a long time since I read GC. I only recently finished Hunger Games (I wanna talk about it when you're finished)

I have yet to read FMA.

I have the first volume of Ooku but it's kind of an awkward read. There's a lot of "What dost thou speak? Wherefore?" Shakespeareanish dialog. I want to come back to it eventually.

I read Sailor V but I haven't gotten to Sailor Moon yet. I'm interested in seeing how they intersect.
Is Sailor V a prequel? An AU? Or does she continue to fight her own bad guys on her own?

Yeah, the language is mostly why I haven't finished reading Ooku. It's also very text-heavy. It's been sitting on my shelf for a long time (I bought it when Border's was still around). XD

Sailor V is a prequel. It takes place around a year before Sailor Moon, but the SM characters make some cameos. Yay, 13-year-olds fighting in short skirts.... \( -_-;)/
