Because I think, secretly, they can't get enough of each other

Pilfered rather shamelessly from quettaser

The nice weather's turned into an icky grey English weather we all know and not necessarily love. I'm bored, still strapped to the worktable by Mean Boss. It's Saturday, for the love of cheese!

1. Number One OTP that is truly THE ONE TRUE PAIRING:
Jack/Daniel from SG-1 probably. They're named after alcohol, afterall, deliberately or otherwise. Still, an interesting pairing although I have a hard time writing them, because they don't want to cooperate with me. Thank goodness there's a slew of very good fics out there, so I don't really have to do it myself (why do it when you can get it on tap? is my philosophy). Nick/Greg (CSI) is one I enjoy writing most. For the time being anyway. They are so weird together. Weird in a good way.

2. Your OTP today:
Nick/Greg, obviously, because they're fun to play with. And Danny/Mac (CSI:NY) because they're exceptionally 'channel'-able especially during times of personal depression. So, Nick/Greg when the sun is up in the sky, and Danny/Mac when depression sets in and suicide is in the forefront of the mind. It balances out perfectly, almost like sane schizophrenia. If you get my drift, which I'm betting you didn't.

3. Baby's first OTP:
Treize/Zechs GW yaoi. I mean, boss/PA romance is still in fashion right? Not to mention the slew of possible history to play with. Then again....

4. That Rare Pairing that you Love:
Hmm... Maybe de Sade/du Colmier (Quills). Twenty bucks to say you can't refuse de Sade's advances. Especially when you're a young Abbe trying (single handedly) to control a sex-nimal. A servant of God dear du Colmier may be, but hey... Lucifer was an angel once.

5. OTP that you'd go to bat for in Wank Situation:
My current obssessions will have me bat for them when they need me. Unflinchingly.

6. Number One Anti-OTP, the pairing you hate with a fiery passion:
Hate? Naw. I've been told that hate is a hateful word. As a general rule of thumb, I don't have any reservations against other pairings, although Lead Male/Mary Sue OTP (well, for some people it is, right?) is an abomination.

7. Character you pair off with almost anyone:
Hmm... I try not to. I believe in true love. Not.
No, but seriously, if I think they're good for each other, then they're good for each other. In cases of Repressed Sex Syndrome, I might just let 'em play the field.

This is for rapid fire first OTP that comes to your head for each fandom, don't cheat!
Stargate: Jack/Daniel
Atlantis: McShep!
L-Word: Hm... BBC's too cheap to spring for it.
Queer as Folk: Funny thing, it didn't quite do anything for me, this one.
X-Men: Logan/Scott, that is if they didn't tear each other limb from limb first.
Buffy: Spike/Angel.
Battlestar Galactica: What is?
CSI: Nick/Greg
Firefly: Uh... no.
24: again, nothing springs to mind. Not to say that the show isn't good though. Because it is. Good, I mean.
Lost: Have only watched the two pilot epis. Ask me again in a couple of months.
ER: Nope.
The X-Files: Nope either.
West Wing: Ditto.
Enterprise: Strike!
Sports Night: Do they even have this on terrestrial? If there is, tell me. I'm intrigued.
Over There: Over where?
Veronica Mars: If they have this on telly, I didn't know anything about it.
OC: Uh... nope.
Smallville: Clark/Lex, obviously.
Alias: Don't know. Don't care.
Felicity: Obviously, not a character off Enid Blyton. But, no. I don't even know about this one.

So, in hindsight, there's a lot of the above that either don't know, don't care, or want to watch but BBC is just to cheap to spring for it. Oh well. I could've gone and get cable, but I'm too cheap to pay for it. Not after scraping a hundred quid to pay for the damn television and watch reruns on the Beeb. Thankfully some of their documentaries make up for it.
