Good for you! I'm really into exercise lately. I started to help with my weight loss (which is has) but I found out pretty fast that it really does help me feel better. My ankles aren't so weak anymore, my knee rarely aches like it used to, and I do have more energy.

That's awesome, once I get into the swing of things it will be nice to have someone who has the same goal as motivation. I miss being full of energy and am looking forward to not feeling winded everytime I run for the bus then have to grab my inhaler afterwards because I'm so winded I start weazing.

I never learned how to swim properly, either. My junior year in high school, one of the swim coaches took an interest in me and gave me swimming lessons, but then I was pulled out of gym for 6 weeks due to a problem with my eyes, and the quarter changed, as did my gym choice.

I need to begin exercising or participating in some type of physical activities other than the day to day things. Although I enjoyed some sports and exercise when I was a child, I've never been what you'd call an "athletic" person, and it makes things kind of tough.

Good luck with everything! I agree with the last sentence in your entry- very well put.

Thanks I'll need it, it's been a constant fight just to get my butt out of the house somedays and i've been forcing myself to deal with things that I've been avoiding like the dentist. So exercising is the next step.

It's never to late to take swimming lessons, when you get everything settled you should give it a try.
