I've been away from LJ a lot lately. Strange thing, I just treated myself to a paid account recently. Life's been busy, I'm waiting to hear back from the guide dog school in regards to my application, which I finally finished all that I had to do except my passport. I need to stop procrastinating on that and go wait in line at the passport

There is a campus in San Rafael, CA and Boring, OR and during my interview I told the Field Manager that I wanted to go to the San Rafael campus because I have relatives in Pacifica and San Fran.

You'll be happy to know that I'm working on your choker! Sorry it's taking so long, I'm going to try to work on it a little everyday so it doesn't get forgotten again. I'm halfway done one motif yay!

Thanks for the chocker update. I was wondering about it, but I know you have been swamped with life et al. I KNOW that I will receive your gift, made with a generous amount of effort and time, when I need it the most. :)

The weather here in Toronto's taking a turn for nice too, but I'm willing to bet it'll get cold again before it stays warm for good. It's prime getting-sick season, so be careful, and hope your family's careful too.

Sigh didn't get that sunny day I wanted till yesterday and my cold got a bit worse. meh! I'm not going to let it stop me having fun this weekend I have a birthday party for a close friend and then on Sunday we are leaving for a road trip to California!! I'm so excited because we are going to see the Monterey Bay Aquarium and I've been wanting to go there since I was around 5 or so! *does a happy dance and then gives Junebug some hugs back* Have a great weekend June!

I remember going to Granville Island with the kids...they could play there forever and in the market you had to catch them lol

*sigh* we didn't make it to Granville Island, but there's always another day. Also the weather played a cruel joke on me it was cloudy with rain showers and it was sunny but cold yesterday; however I didn't go out because my cold has gotten a little worse. I hope you are enjoying your sun! We are leaving on Sunday for a road trip to California (San Fran. area to be precise) so I may get some sun that I'm desperately missing soon.

I know I have no life! I'm a stay-at-home mom right now, soon to be guide dog owner then full-time or part-time student after that. I need to get my reading in now before it's too late! I also am addicted to listening to audiobooks, while knitting and that helps with the book count.

I just got the stitch markers today! Thanks so much for the surprise I love the row counter and it's blue!!! I luuuurrrrvvveee blue *big grins* Sadly it came in a plastic baf from Canada Post saying that it was damaged during the postal process, but the stitch markers and row counter plus one candy made it so it's all good. I really love the stitch markers I can't decide which ones are my favourite because I like them both for different reasons. When I get a chance I'll put a review on etsy for you. Thanks!
