So I'm waiting for my in-laws to pick me up to drive me to my specialist appointment. I was almost to the bus stop and I called my m-in-law to see if she could drop apples off sometime today so I can make apple pie for dinner over at their place tonight. Yep, Thanksgiving :-D I'm in charge of dessert so I'm making a pumpkin and an apple pie.

Oh, I hate doctors. I had this one doctor who was always 1-2 hours late (well, I guess I should be fair, since he also did surgeries), and the one time I missed my appointment, I got charged $35 for not calling 24 hr in advance.

Note that I no longer go to that doctor.

Ouch $35 pretty high, most charge around $25.00. Today I waiting 1hr. but I brought my crochet project and I wasn't in a rush. One of the patients starting complaining because he had to catch the noon ferry back to the Island and the techinican was an hour behind, so they bumped him ahead of a few people. I dislike doctors myself. I told this specialist during my first appointment with him that I hated doctors especially in his field considering I have been seeing them since I was 8. He's okay though, he even answered e-mail and didn't charge a few times :-] always a bonus.

I hate doctors too, but there's something I hate more than going to doctors...that's trying to find a good doctor in the first place (we just moved to a new state not too long ago.)

I had a good weekend thank you.

Appointment went as well as they always do, I'll be going back for a check-up in Decemeber, oh the joy!

The apple pie was delicious sadly there is no more left, I'm making another one for thanksgiving dinner on Monday. I'd try to save you a piece but Mr. Pix3l's relatives don't leave left-overs at least when it comes to dessert.

I hate having to wait in the doctor's office when I'm early or on-time. But, yeah, if I'm a few minutes late, then they were actually running on time that day.
