I've been told that I should post my photos on one of those Hot Or Not livejournals...but from what I've seen, those can be very harsh, and I don't know if I'd be up for putting myself out there to get judged. Maybe it's not as bad in a rating community then a "Yes or No".

Advice, anyone? Helpful experiences? Something?

if you're not sure about it, then don't post there. those people are way harsh in those communities, and most of the time they don't judge you fairly. :\ don't put yourself up for that kind of criticism.

Thanks for your advice :) I have noticed that people that I thought were beautiful were rated poorly, but I wanted to know if anyone has had a fair, good experience at one of those communities. lol, apparently not!

If you post the one I've seen, they'd tear you apart. No offense, I think you're gorgeous, but they only like people who steal pictures from model sites. =p

lol, maybe I should try and start a fair rating one...it's odd, but ever time I see a rating, or 'yes or no' community, they either are too harsh, or let everyone in.

About the model pics though, I saw what you're talking about. There was a girl who stole a picture from the ae website (which is hardly the act of a certified genius) I doubted anyone posed like that, with a big fat "American Eagle" sign across the photo. Nonetheless, the community was all over her. *tsks*

If you started a fair rating thingy, I'd join! Well, try and join... but you know what I mean.

And I was gonna mention something about how AE wouldn't like it very much of Aber had their pictures on the site... but you changed it, so nevermind. ;)

Yeah, after I pointed out that she stole that picture, she left the community. Bah, wimp. She could have at least tried to make us believe she was a model, for our amusement!

Hey i saw u on a "added" community, i think ur gorgeous! I see ur thinking bout joining a rating community? well if u wanna start out u can come join topcat_dolls we rate on ur personality too and arn't very harsh.... plus i think ur very pretty so u've already got a yes from me! lol =)

Wow, thank you very much! Hmm, I'll go look at that community...I've never actually seen one that rates personality (I'm highly deprived ;) ). lol, sounds a lot better! I'm off to go look at it XD
