Trying to decide if I want to buy another '62 Comet. The engine/brakes/etc are shot, but the body needs*much* less work than mine(less rust, doesn't need 4 layers of paint stripped). And mine has had the engine/trans/brakes/etc. all redone already. Seems like a chance to combine them into one better car ( Read more... )

Quick update on Birthday plans. I'm going to have a dinner thing in Boston on Saturday the 26th. Still figuring out location. One possible suggestion is "Tavern on the Square" in Porter Square, though I've never been there. Another friend was going to get us a list of possible places but hasn't had a chance yet.

It feels lately like nearly every time I try and do something or get something dealt with it turns into a much bigger hassle & project than is anywhere near reasonably expected.

We moved the last of auntiemame67's stuff out of her ex's cellar about four months ago. Put it in a storage unit and figured it was safe there until we have a place big enough for it ( Read more... )

auntiemame67 & I need a few people to help us move her stuff across town from one storage unit to another on Saturday around 11-noon. It only half-fills a 10x10 and we're renting a truck or trailer and should be able to do it in 1-2 trips easily.

My birthday is the 25th of this month. I'm trying to figure out some kind of event to celebrate this. Possibilities are any of the days that weekend, and we could do something at our apartment here in Pawtucket(if the weather is nice this can involve hanging out on the lawn too).
