Raspberries!!!!

It is spring, and time once again to thin out the raspberry herd. Anybody who wants, I have goldens and reds that are going to get culled so if you wants 'em, come and gets 'em. I should be home most of the weekend.

Oh, booger it. I want red raspberries in a big, bad way - but we RENT. And raspberries spread, right?

I think I could plant them along side of the house, or along the side of the garage - both locations have some sort of 'barrier' between the plantable space and the grass.

What do you think?

Yes, they spread. ;-)

As long as they have sun and water they should do fine.

Did they get enough sun? Raspberries like full sun and plenty of water, I've found.

Sorry I forgot to answer this--um, no. My wrists would divorce me if I even contemplated archery. But we'll figure something out.

Wish I could get there, I'd love some of both. Last year's plantings died/got et by desperate rabbits this winter, along with all 4 apples and a lot of herbs. Even the mint didn't make it back this year.
