The pun only just occurred to me

The Pandaren race has been a sort of Warcraft in-joke forever - it started as an April Fools thing - and until a year or so ago, they always said it would remain a joke and there would never actually be Pandaren in the game. There was always a vocal element of the fandom that really really wanted them to be real though. And finally Blizzard gave in ( Read more... )

Oh man, that is one reason I hate leveling priests. My reaction time is too slow to be an effective healer, too, so leveling in dungeons means shadow... which can be fun of course.

Dook Nookem... Tiger's Wood... LOL!

I SO hope that's true about eliminating Garrosh. My Pandaren hunter chose Horde and Garrosh was so effing rude! I decided to level another panda and go Alliance just spite him.

MoP will still be around for a long time. And maybe when you get around to it, the zone won't be crammed full of brand new pandas grabbing all your quest stuff! :)

I saw that 50% off... just got email about it! I'll have to check the budget (not sure what bills are coming up) but... yeah! :D

Yes! I did the trial which just expired today and so I signed up for a month of playtime. And also convinced my boyfriend to resign up even though we both haven't been on in more than a year. I totally forgot how to do just about anything, so I've been mostly playing a new character/a low-level I had previously rolled and neglected.

I started a panda shaman. I agree, the zone is lovely, but I also noticed the cultural appropriation/stereotype thing. A little side-eye/uncomfortable at that but like you, I'm just enjoying it anyway. I really like the shaman, I never really tried one before, going the enhancement route and it's a lot of fun. I ended up going Alliance, after much deliberating. Currently alternating between her and and a warlock who is super fun and easy to level solo who I also never really played with before.

I also really enjoyed the Pandaren storyline, also trying not to spoil it for anyone. The last few, with the healers and all were really cool, plotwise, I think.

Sorry, this turned into such a long ramble!
