The best connection we can usually get out here at the school (being in the middle of nowhere) is about 1.3mbps. That's tollerable, but just barely. For someone like me who does everything online. YouTube, BitTorrent, videoconference, social networking, skype, IM, etc. Downloading software updates for the lab or disc images of the latest Ubuntu

I only get 1.5 mbps at most, and i'm in the middle of the city...
Stupid eugene doesn't have at&t, and the others are either rip-off comcast or M$ monopoly helping qwest...

Wow, painful!!! I play EQ2 and I shake my head at people who continually try to play on dial-up...
