I made sushi for some of my students tonight. They were curious about the wasabi paste and wanted to prove they were tough, so I let them try it. Most of them ran screaming outside. >:D ( Read more... )

You can have my wasabi! It's not so much the heat as the chemical aftertaste that has me wanting to pass on it.

Wasabi. . . . it always seems to be to little or tooooo much. . . . great green stuff though. How did they like the ginger?
