I chatted with mom about more childhood stories for accuracy. Turns out I was quite an escape artist at a rather young age. Maybe that's why I was so fascinated with Houdini when I was a youngster? and she'll tell you that your mom is nuts. i kept my parents up all fucking night as an infant. my parents were walking around in a sleep-deprived trance for a couple of years. the only person who was able to manage to get me to sleep was my grandma. wanna know her secret? the seers of poland probably passed this technique down to all parents. she convinced me that there was this grotesque witch that eats children late at night..the naughty ones that want to stay up all night and don't have a care for the world..she finds these miscreants while hovering on her broom..she creeps in..gets behind the headboard..*scratch of my grandmother's nails against said headboard*...immediately i'd fall asleep under the covers..it didn't matter that i was suffocating underneath the mountain of blankets. the point was..i lived to see another day ( ... )
