I'm frustrated with all of the religion quizzes, encouraging people to label themselves after selecting how much they agree with ridiculous statements that neither sum up or define the religion. Not only are they stupid and pointless, but I think they give the wrong ideas about religions ( Read more... )

I am not religious in any way, and I think you're all to aware of this. I am, however, a huge fan of the things Jesus had to say back in his time. I think he had some amazing ideas and he was badass and yeah. Anyhow, that article pretty much spells out how far removed a lot of neo-religious people seem to be from what their faith is actually supposed to be all about. I agree with you on this. I think religion can be a good and powerful medium of positive social change, but I think too many people are being ignorant and reactionary, just as people seem to be with everything nowadays.

I'd like to say that most people understand that and only take these tests for entertainment value, but I don't have that much faith in humanity anymore.
