Meh. I knew what was going on from the first like, 20 minutes.
Watch "Suspiria" a couple times, or "Maniac", "Zombie" or like Foriegn horror movies are much, Much better. Dario Argento's stuff is just like, Bizarre.
I really wish somebody would make a good H. P. Lovecraft movie. I mean, "In the Mouth Of Madness" is about as close as one gets next to 're-animator', but I'm talkin' monsters with huge tentacles and doom and abyssmal creations and so on.
But if you really want to be just want a good suspenceful thriller, rent Hitchcock's "Rope". It was filmed in one shot, real time and it's just amazing to watch. It's a James Stewart movie too, and oooooh so good.
haha...suspiria. wow, what a horrible movie that was. a friend and i rented it because it was supposed to be 'the scariest movie ever' or somesuch bullshit. ok, so the room filled with razorwire was cool, but that's about it.
i agree about saw though. actually it pretty much held my interest (not because i wanted to know who the killer was, but i wanted to see the ways of killing they came up with) UNTIL the end, which i thought was rather lame.
