GET OVER YOURSELF.

Evidentally I've grown up lately. Or, at the very least, the things that are enraging my friends (or at least my livejournal friendslist) aren't pissing me off. Funny, because I don't see anyone else on your friends list who brought up the Reagan thing. Just this desk-chair activist over here.

You and I both know that you, and what you post in your journal are two different things. I can sincerely like and respect you without agreeing with everything you post in your journal, right? Well, I do. Like and respect you, that is. (and anyway, I was more upset about the 60+ comments which seemed more ignorant than the post could have been if you'd typed it without even looking at the screen.)

Besides, that got a paragraph, and the nike thing is about 18 paragraphs, and the only person who posted about that on my friends list is my best friend.

The survey thing is the 100 greatest americans thing that they've been hocking between Mythbusters episodes, where they got all of america to vote who's the best whatever.

But... But... If Minor Threat fans like NIKE, then they're not REALZ PUNK ROCKERS! So they're not allowed to listen to Minor Threat, Because Minor Threat is PUNX... And only PUNX are allowed to listen to PUNX music!

Thank you, Corey. I appreciate that you're not being such a CHILD about this. I appreciate your insight.

do you mean "facetious" or "a fascist?"

and I'm being neither. But I'm - flat out - not enough of a history buff to debate, and won't do so. All I'm saying is I'm impressed that Americans voted him to the top.

That was pretty good rant. I had just finished typing a Minor Threat vs. NIKE post myself ( ... )

That's awesome and crazy-informative. I'm really just impressed that they didn't all go with the easy vote. But yeah.. perhaps we'll check that out.

To be fair, Oprah Winfrey's in the top ten as well, so.. my fellow citizens are a strange and obscure people with entirely short attention spans.
