update the first: the scooter was found! someone turned it in yesterday (or late last night, rather) and even though it's trashed and will need to be fixed, it's back. we're very happy about that

Yes! I just sent an e-mail to Tod telling him what a bummer this was. I may be mistaken but if I remember correctly this is the second time that scooter's gone missing. I kinda figured that the average person wouldn't be able to do much with a stolen vintage scooter because it's be too easy to identify. I'm glad it's worked itself out!

And I was also telling Tod that I'm sorry myself n' wife supreme can't make the trip but the logistics just don't work right now. We are however, taking a gander at your Target registry, so we'll be shipping you a little joy for your new residence! We'll be thinking about cha!

if you all are arriving thursday night, you can drive straight to lansing from detroit, instead of going through jackson.. it'll save you one trip on 127 which is f'ed up for construction.

we're getting in at 6:30 on thursday. but we're staying in the holiday inn in jackson that night.. unless you know somplace we could crash in lansing?

lansing's a pretty quick drive from jackson, and vice versa... it's about 25-30 minutes or so... as long as someone is able to drive... i don't have anyone who has a place to crash in lansing right now... except a few family members, but yeah... we'll all need to be driving back into jackson tht night, too, so we can all hit denny's or something after dancing to sober up...
