Man, I should really get out more.
So, lets see, the last three days have been pure HELL
Monday I worked from 9-1 which went by extremely slow. Then I had micro at the F/PC campus at 6. First of all, let me reiterate something you all probably know already, I hate night classes. They're too long for my attention span and it's always retarded teachers that teach them here. Maybe in Daytona it's a different story, but Daytona is off limits after the sun goes down. The weirdos of DBCC come out. My teacher is a very nice guy. He's older and he's taught all kinds of social science classes over the years. The first problem with the class is that it's too big. There are soooooo many freakin' idiots in that class too. They all have so many loudmouthed, uneducated opinions about stuff and they love voicing them. The syllabus is retarded too. Way too much busy work and not enough actual teaching it looks like. He hasn't even updated it to go along with our new books! He's got all kinds of old chapters in it (this was pointed out by my macro teacher from last semester which I'll get to later.) So, I wasn't very happy when I left.
Tuesday was the busiest day. Classes from 8-2:30 (accounting, computer, and business calc) The day just seemed to drag on and on. So many long breaks between classes since we got out early of all of them. One good thing is I found out I don't have to go to my computer class. We can do it at home if we want to. So I don't think I'll be going to that class very often, except when we take tests probably. It's just a class on Word and Excel and stuff and the book is very self explanatory on how to do the projects. The best part of the day was when I went and saw my macro teacher. I brought him my syllabus from my micro class and we talked about it. (This is the teacher that I wanted really bad but couldn't get because of scheduling) So talking to him kind of convinced me to take his class. He has a class on Mondays and Wednesdays and I didn't want to take it to begin with because I didn't want to drive to Daytona four days a week. But, I know having the class I want is more important than gas money so I dropped that shiznit in PC and now I'm in his micro class.
What a difference it is too! So today I worked from 8-10 and then went to micro and now I'm at work again until 8. :( Having 20 hours a week is no walk in the park. But, yeah. Micro was awesome today. So much more interesting than the class here could EVER hope to be. Smith is a great teacher. And, even more exciting, I walked in there today to find Mandy sitting there! I thought she had his 8 o'clock class so I was sooo happy to see her. I'm glad we have a class together finally. It's been like over a year since we were together.
Also Tuesday night was my history class. My teacher is a nice lady and she's funny, but she reads from lecture notes. I guess she's been teaching the class for so long that she just typed stuff out and she just reads it. There are some annoying people in that class too. There are two girls who sit on the right of me and they have their own stupid little conversations while my teacher is talking. It's really annoying. It doesn't help that I was really tired and worn out from the day and just wanted to get the hell home and relax. I would probably switch out of that class too, but for one, there isn't a replacement class that would fit my schedule, and two, the course load looks really easy and I'd hate to get into a harder class. So, I'll deal.
Tonight will be dedicated to getting my binders all arranged and reading my book. And best of all, Chris is calling me tonight! :-D
