- Game's cast might actually be worse-designed visually than Arcana Heart's, a feat which I previously thought impossible

I'm not sure they're designed as BADLY as "AH"-- busier, yeah, but not as BADLY or freakily disproportionate. (I'm personally more distracted by the fact that it sounds like the main four all sound eerily similar XD)

Battle system does look nice and fast though, and if this is supposed to be all meta I'm very curious about who the 'bad guy' is supposed to symbolize :)

Well her name is Arfoire as in the R4 flash card for the DS. Japanese name was Magicon (the popular DS flash card for Japan).

Regardless can't wait to get the game...and personally I like the character designs a lot more than Arcana Heart's.

Also don't expect the battle system to ACTUALLY be faster than FFXIII. From the videos I've seen, it isn't. That guy is talking out his ass and has probably never actually PLAYED FFXIII.

in summation: So this game doesn't interest me in any way at all, since I can just re-watch this and surely get better jokes with less moe, but I still feel as though I should caution you: isn't Idea Factory infamous for sucking all the time, non-stop? Combine that with N1's rather dubious rep as of late and, well...Godspeed.

Why do I have the feeling that an NiS-style SRPG starring the SEGA Superstars(Ex: Sonic, Alex Kidd, Vyse the Blue Rogue, etc) is getting closer to reality?
