I don't think the rain would be a huge problem? just adds to the fun. However, I would say that because everyone in the world is poor, save the money from getting a cake and use it on something more useful..

hon we will have the biggest and most bestest masquerade party later this summer.. besides.. there will be opportunities when peoples parents arent home.. those ones are better anyways :-)
