[Having only "talked" with the person who had introduced him to the idea of the keymash, and a short talk it was at that, Fayt decides to take a walk around Pixelville to get a feel for the place, as he often did in the towns and cities on Elicoor II. After having found nothing safe that was of particular interest to him while on his own, Fayt

[the words of the voice within the cave resounded through his mind. There was a statue he wanted to see for himself and this was the proper way of finding it. He had been walking for sometime the energy given to him by the power up still brimming within him. He rounded a corner to find the building and the statue]

Hmmm? This must the place. [he steps up towards the Tower blinking as he sees a human lying against the statue. A sigh escapes his mouth] First that odd human and now another one how very annoying.

[Fayt murmurs in his sleep and tries to turn to the voice that spoke, not quite hearing the words in his dreams, but still recognizes the meaning of that tone of voice. One that is unpleasant to his ears. His body rolls towards this new unknown person with his arm moving forward in an attempt at a sleepy punch, but his body simply falls over and he lands on his face.]

"Er-ow..."

[Fayt is woken, forgetting his dream and the annoying voice altogether as he rubs his nose. Sitting up and blinking his eyes, Fayt slowly becomes fully awake and notices the stranger standing there. Noting how he seems to be fully encased in armor that is closely shaped to his body. He gets up and with a slightly embarrassed look, he quickly bows and introduces himself.]

"Umm...oh! Sorry, I was just taking a nap. I'm Fayt Leingod." [Fayt smiles at the the strangely armored man standing before him.] "You're the first person that I've met here, do you mind if I ask your name?"

[He moved back a bit an amused look on his face as he watched the human punch at the air. He lets out a snark laugh eyes narrowing a bit as the human boy finally awakened his face colliding with the ground]

Oh? And you think I'd tell you my name, human? [He pauses. Perhaps it wasn't a bad idea...even if he didn't exactly like them]

Gate. My name is Gate. Why were you sleeping here of all places? [he asked raising an eyebrow] First person...you mean you haven't been given a mission yet? It must just have been us three then, intriguing... [mumbles to himself]

"Nice to meet you Gate. I thought this would be a nice place to rest after walking around all day."

[Fayt isn't particular fond of how Gate referred to him as "human", as if this man were different somehow. But then again, all that armor... Fayt's train of thought is broken as he remembers that Gate had a second question.] "Well, no. I haven't been given a mission yet, so I've been walking around to get a feel for this place. You said yet..." [Fayt closes his eyes in thought for a second, then opens them with the light of curiousity as he arrives to a conclusion.] "Are you saying you've gotten a mission already?"

Ah. I see.

Hmm? No mission? How very strange. Have you seen anything interesting while walking around? This statue is very odd...then again this entire place is.

[he nods at Fayt] Indeed I have. With another green robot and a curious human...though he looked much more stronger than yourself and had white hair. Such odd looking people here. [he smirks before looking up at the tower]

"Well, for interesting places, there's a ghost house in a corner of the town..." [Fayt shakes his head] "Though I don't think anyone should go in there alone seeing as how the map that was sent out earlier described it as a complex maze."

[Fayt looks to Gate inquiringly.] "Well, I haven't seen anyone like that before, but the way you're talking about it so lightly, I take it you guys were successful?"

[nods a little] I see. A complex maze, hmm? [chuckles] It shouldn't be too hard if there's a map.

[he looks at Fayt] Yes we were. Though we were given these odd objects called Shine Sprites...apparently they open up new places in this world when at least thirty are collected and brought to this statue. Interesting, no? [looks back at the statue]
