here's the truth: i am obsessed with makeover shows. well, not all of them, but two in particular: what not to wear, and queer eye for the straight guy. i really love the original (bbc) wntw, but we don't get bbca, so i never get to see it any more. still, the tlc version does satisfy my need for makeover magic pretty nicely.

I hear ya!

I'm at a point where i can either spend a crapload of money ordering clothes (ie pants) online that actually fit, or wait months before the store on base has anything in my size and in the one brand that actually fits. Which are spendy as well...Bah freakin' humbug. I don't WANT to spend $40 on a pair of jeans, thank you! I'm considering just buying a few long girly skirts and wearing those all the time.

Also, have you figured out what kind of necklace you'd like? It's on my project list. (:

All I ever wear is skirts....it's SO SO SO much easier to find skirts that look cute and fit right....and I think my figure looks SO much better in skirts. I only own one pair of jeans and really love it that way!

Pointy toed shoes ARE comfortable if you purchase well made ones. But, that doesn't mean that everyone needs to own eight hundred pairs of them. I own one, or maybe two, and I do wear them regularly, but more of my heels are vintage-y and have rounded open toes cause that's my style.

I love shopping. I need to do it less though.

I think the your body is not a size thing is the best thing they preach. I would love to be a size 6 like my sister, but frankly my size 14 butt gets dressed way better cause I take more time to look at what clothes really do to my figure.
