i can't seem to mind my own business...

occasionally i find myself experiencing a very strong urge to butt into other people's business. i'm not just talking about friends and family; i mean total strangers. this has happened the last two times we've taken cooper to the park. let me explain...

I can't believe that woman threw her dog on the ground and then just walked away. I've never really been to a dog park but I don't think I could take watching people completely ignoring their animals. Just because it's "her" dog doesn't give her the right to let other dogs attack it!!!

You were much more restrained than i would have been. Course, i can be a complete brat sometimes.

And..."It's okay, they all know each other"??? What the hell? So if a group of adults let their kids play together, and one of them gets beaten up by the rest, it's okay? Because they know each other? That's crap. I can think of worse analogies but i'll just make myself even angrier.

Finally..."It's MY dog"? So because it's yours, you can treat it however you want? And let other animals attack it without saying a word?

That makes me so mad.

PS i ordered some bits for your necklace, it should be in the mail by the end of this week. (:

The downside of being a responsible and informed dog owner is that you notice all the horrid things people do to their animals. It's sickening. It'll be interesting when that dog finally gets sick of being alpha rolled and bites her in the face :P

As for the squirrels, I am so glad you said something. People need to know that it is NOT ok to torture animals. Someone cares, even if it is "only squirrels".

i am a much more informed dog owner this time around than i have been with previous dogs, but i ALWAYS knew that it's not okay to let your dog get beat up by other dogs. the whole thing made me sick, and furious.

regarding the squirrels, i figure those punks are serial killers in the making, and i'll probably be their first victim, but oh well!

The adults/punk kids in the situation may not have been your problem, but the defenseless animals were! I say Bravo!

if it weren't for the idiot humans, there wouldn't have been a problem, but i agree: SOMEBODY needs to speak up, and lately, that somebody has been me.

PMS helps. :)
