we're VERY excited about the trip...

actually, the guy at work is a very nice older gentleman; he made his remark when, on a wednesday morning, i said something about wishing it was friday already, and he smiled and said, "now, susan, don't wish your life away...enjoy today for what it is!" good advice in general, but i agree with you, it's lovely to have something exciting to look forward to!

London is wonderful!!! If you're looking for a kinda fun tourist thing, the haunted london walking tour or the Jack the Ripper walking tour are pretty interesting. If you like ghosts and gore and stuff.
I love London, I've been twice.
First time I met a street musician. ahhh, sixteen year old me with a sensitive muscian, he set a precedent for my future.

there's so much we want to do and see in london, i know we'll only scratch the surface in a week. my wife would LOVE the ghosts & gore stuff; that's right up her alley! we're hoping to meet up with friends while we're there, for an "insider's view" of the city, but we're going to have a ball no matter what!

16 years old, first time in london, and you meet a london street musician...sounds lovely to me! :)
