Dude. That's awesome. Except for the fact that it's not near my house. :(

Apples under a dollar is always a good deal. here they're about 1.30 for the fancier ones like pink ladies. Your different berries (straw, blue, rasp, boysen, and black) normally sell for about 2.50-4.00 depending on season. If you see them under 2.50, I'd pick 'em up.
Of course, this may vary by your region compared to mine. I know in California, strawberries went for a dollar for the big 3 lbs clam-shell.
My advice is to compare the local ads and see who's got what on sale. Then from there, you can investigate the fruits. Some places will even let you sample them. Oh, and if you ever want to know how to pick out a decent one, grab one of the produce peeps that normally stock it a lot. One of the best cantaloupe's I've ever had looked like someone kicked it around on a soccer field, but was super sweet and fleshy. The more you shop for fruits, the more fruit-guru you will become :)
