Admit it, folks... we all have things we like to read that we wish we could check out from the library in plain brown wrappers. Things that we'd rather everyone not know we're reading, for one reason or another. It ain't just porn, people. Sometimes, it's simply what we can't get enough of, and are too much the literary snobs to admit it. I'll ( Read more... )

my whole my rather unfortunate addiction to anything romance. (thankfully that's waned a bit).
Nora Roberts anyone?

And anything Star Trek. I am a proud Trekkie/SciFi geek, but those novels are really kind of bad.

And not just kid lit, but teen lit. Like the Princess Diaries and stuff like that.

Yep i'm am guilty of the tv show ones. i have csi, charmed, lost... it is really sad.
Although it does life the spirits of a fan fic writer (anyone could get published, haha)

And i am a big one on the kids and teen lit. Not really romance, but the fantasy stuff. It is usually better then the adult fantasy.

I'm with you on the TV tie-ins, the kid-lit, and the quote books. My other vice is about once a year, I swipe one of my mom's Harlequins. (They are SO BAD, but sometimes you want bad.)

Really, the biggest thing I read that I don't like to admit to is magazines. I'm kind of appalled at how addicted I am to Entertainment Weekly. (I watch enough TV and movies - I have to read all about them too???)

Hmmmm....interesting question. Unfortunately no brown wrp on my books, mostly because I really don't care if I walk around with my porn. Okay, maybe not. I've been trying to think(hard enough at the best of times), and I can't think of anything. I read so much, and so often, that I literaly read everything. It's all good if you enjoy it. Same with music, it's all good, some you just prefer more than others.
