Shopping poll

Poll

Note, I chose radio buttons, because I want the MOST likely thing. What is the thing that -- above all else -- will make you walk/drive somewhere else?

Oh, and please -- if you would -- ask your friends to vote, too. I want as wide (if unscientific) a pool as possible, thanks.

SCORE!!! First to andswer poll.

Sorry had to do it. :)

Now to explain my answer.
You didn't say WHAT kind of shopping. And to me, depending on the type of shopping, my answer will change.

FOOD shopping... Dirty store. There isn't much interaction with people there, so customer service isn't as important to me as say at a restaurant. (That said rude bastards, will cause me to find a new place if it happens ALL the time.)
I will never return to Pathmark because it just looked dirty to me. Same with another local groccery store here on Wrong island. Everything was old and dingy. With a bunch of other options, I have no issue going some where eles.

Clothes etc? That is more customer service/never finding what I want. I have no issue going to the farther away Walmart because the one close has crap and never what I need.

So that's my answer.

It depends what kind of shopping I do. And what you mean by 'poor store condition'. Like, I don't mind if the building is a bit run-down. It's just gotta be clean, you know ( ... )

All of these could make me change the store, but to never get what I'm looking for would be the most frustrating, I think.

People can have a shitty day and treat me, the customer, poorly. It happens. I wouldn't immediately change the store.

Poor store conditions are of course very tough when it comes to food, I wouldn't want to buy food in a dirty store or anything. Clothes which aren't always in place? I could deal with that way better than not finding what I'm looking for at all.

This reminds of last Thursday, though, when I went to a bakery. The vendor kept arguing with me what kind of bread I'd ordered, insisting that I'd said something else entirely ... although I had not even heard of that word before. And she just couldn't stop arguing! I, too, had a shitty day that day, so that didn't go over quite so well. I went out kind of pissed and vowed to leave her alone from now on.
